I’m very protective of the things I love, and very guarded as a person.

For the longest time I’ve avoided discussing my personal life, but it’s 2017, the year of being bold & taking risks.
My biggest risk is letting you all in.
Please don’t make me regret it πŸ™‚

So let’s talk about family, for those who don’t know I’m the last born in a family of 6 girls or the ‘black sheep’ of the family

Aren’t they just gorgeous?😍 I love them to bits. Now, being the last born of 6 has its perks, Like free passes of the bill at the dinner table, who wouldn’t like that,? thanks to the girls.

BUT, It’s a total nightmare when they decide to throw shadeπŸ™„.
As a fashion enthusiast, my style is very diverse as compared to my sisters, I love trying new looks all the time. From bold to elegant and some are just out right crazy.

This particular look didn’t get love from my sisters at all.
They hated on almost everything, from the minty green cami top, to my high top floral sandals πŸ™„

What’s worse is they didn’t even give me a chance to justify my look. Thank God I have you guys and this blog.

Inner garments like the camisole have been trendy for a hot minute now since fall/winter 2016 and I love how its being rocked as a main fashion item not only in slumberland but also on the red carpet to chill hang outs.

I love the camisole, especially in this hot Nairobi weather of ours, its a perfect chic trend as most of them come in silk fabric which is just light and right for this kind of weather.

When dressed right, a cami is a look that can be rocked from day to night depending on what you wear it with and how.
I’ve worn this cami before at the launch of Coke Studio Africa, which was a red carpet event, I had on a denim midi skirt ,gold-glittery heels with a trench denim coat.

This time around I thought I’d switch it up and do a casual look where I wore it with slim fit denims and a pair of floral sandals that had some color to give the whole look a bit of pop.

I’m sure by now you’ve noticed how in love I am with minty to neutral shades, these colors are just soft and warm, plus I love how well they complement my skin tone.

Did I nail it with the cami this time?

And if this is a look that you would add to your closet how and where would you wear it?

Kindly Let me know πŸ™‚
